Nestled right in front of Mazunte's main beach, Palapa El Mazunte is a delightful restaurant that garners praise for its fresh seafood and picturesque views. According to diners, one standout dish is the seafood soup, which boasts generous portions of shrimp, octopus, and fish. Patrick raved about its size, recommending it for sharing, as even hearty appetites may struggle to finish a bowl. The ambiance is casual and inviting, with waves lapping gently at the shore, creating a perfect backdrop for enjoying a meal. Lainey Cameron highlights the charm of dining here, where fresh fish takes center stage. The exquisite huachinango al mojo de ajo, as suggested by Adrian Lucardi, not only impresses with its flavor but also offers great value for money. Moreover, patrons enjoy the relaxed vibe, with Jose Mascarua pointing out the affordable prices and accessible Wi-Fi, making it an excellent stop for beachgoers. Complementing the delightful food, SAJAHI Goes! notes the availability of good Mexican beer, rounding off the experience perfectly. In sum, Palapa El Mazunte promises a satisfying culinary journey enriched by the beauty of its coastal setting. Whether you're in for a hearty seafood dish or simply a refreshing drink, it’s a place where memories are made, and the ocean's waves serenade your dining experience.

The seafood soup was amazing. Very generous portions of big shrimp, octopus and fish. I’m a big eater and I almost couldn’t finish it as it was so much. I recommend splitting it with someone. Beautiful view of the ocean and great experience

Good place to lie and watch the beach. The huachinango al mojo de ajo that the waiter recommended was great (and cheap).

Lovely place to have lunch or a few drinks right on the beach. We ate here many times during our 2 holidays in Mazunte and tried many dishes. Tlayudas were fantastic, and seafood, fries, and drinks were great, too. Everything was delicious honestly and seemed freshly made. Service was always fast and attentive and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
